What we collect
When you apply to PurpleRain Residency, we collect the information you submit through our application form — typically your name, email, phone number, portfolio links, and written responses about your work and intentions.
If you are accepted, we may collect additional details needed for your stay: emergency contact, dietary preferences, and payment information processed through our payment provider.
How we use it
We use your application data solely to evaluate your fit for the residency, communicate with you about your application, and — if accepted — coordinate your stay.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties except as needed to operate the residency (e.g. payment processing, email delivery).
Communications
By applying, you agree to receive emails about your application status. We may occasionally send updates about future cohorts — you can unsubscribe at any time.
Data retention
Application data is retained for up to two years. If you request deletion, we will remove your data within 30 days unless we are required to retain it for legal reasons.
