Terms of service.

By applying to or staying at PurpleRain Residency, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not apply.

PurpleRain Residency is a selection-only residential community. Cohort I runs October 4, 2026 through December 28, 2026 in Mysore, Karnataka. Move-in is October 4, 2026; move-out is December 28, 2026.

The residency is fully free, covering accommodation, utilities, internet, shared household expenses, community activities, and operational costs. Between 8 and 12 residents per cohort.

Acceptance is at our sole discretion. A spot is confirmed only after written acceptance and completion of documentation requirements.

A refundable security deposit is required before move-in. It is returned in full after move-out unless there are damages or outstanding dues. Deposits are refunded in full within 14 days of move-out, provided there are no damages beyond normal wear and tear and no outstanding dues.

No monthly rent — the residency is fully free to live in..

GST and taxation policies will be finalised with our Chartered Accountant.

Residents must respect shared spaces, clean up after themselves, and contribute positively to house culture.

Smoking is prohibited indoors. Alcohol is not permitted inside the residency. Illegal drugs result in immediate removal.

Day visitors are permitted with prior notice. Overnight guests require management approval.

Photography, livestreaming, or recording other residents requires their consent.

Repeated violations of ground rules or behaviour that creates an unsafe, hostile, or uncomfortable environment may result in removal.

Where six or more residents submit formal complaints regarding serious misconduct, PurpleRain management conducts a formal review. The final decision rests with PurpleRain.

Residents removed for misconduct are not entitled to a refund.

PurpleRain Residency is not liable for loss or damage to personal property, injury, or outcomes related to your work during the stay.

Residents are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear.

Everything you create during the residency belongs to you. We may ask permission to feature your work or name in marketing — always with your consent.
